After spending one-half of a decade hobnobbing with the who's who of the corporate world in my earlier avatar as a financial journalist writing for Mint (part of The Wall Street Journal) among others, I decided to hone my skills around what was to me the most exciting - M&A's.​

 

Law for an economics graduate seemed the natural path to tread, and I've been lucky to be able to spend the early part of my formative legal career in Bombay, the commercial capital, and learn from distinguished seniors, and other first-generation lawyers at J. Sagar Associates (JSA).

 

Setting up my practice given my unconventional path was the obvious next step. Thanks to a whole host of well-wishers, my team and I have managed to be a part of the journeys of fabulous companies, both, marquee brands and energetic start-ups.

 

​I also write occasionally for publications including Money Control, Mint, Live Law, and Bar and Bench on various aspects of Company Law. ​

 

When I'm not poring over bare acts or transaction documents, I'm absorbed in the cosmos of Catan, or usually re-arranging my ever-growing bookshelf.​
